In Malaysia, the Meatless Monday campaign is making some inroads in the local scene.
Meatless Monday is an international campaign that encourages people to drop meat from their plates on Mondays.
Their goal is to help you reduce your meat consumption by 15% in order to improve your personal health and the health of the planet.
Some organisations have responded to this campaign.
Pearl International Hotel Kuala Lumpur is one of them.
What is its plan?
1. The hotel will have a meatless menu on Mondays at the hotel staff cafeteria.
2. For hotel guest, a specially designed meatless set lunch is available.
3. There will be a meatless corner during buffer promotions in the hotel on weekends.
You too can enjoy the life of meatless Mondays.
For me, everyday is meatless. It is such a wonderful lifestyle.
I am at peace with all life forms in the universe.
Some organisations have responded to this campaign.
Subsequently, I sent an e-mail to a manager in Pearl International Hotel Kuala Lumpur expressing my interest to work with them on promoting meatless meals. Unfortunately, there is no reply after a month.
