“Actually, I have being practising eating for good health and fit for some time. It was way back in 1996 when my father passed away with liver cancer in 1993. I started reading on health material and got to know Dr Lai Chiu Nan. I attended her talk and bought some of her books. I like her ideas and approach. Started practising it. We are consuming organic vegetable and fruit as far as possible and avoid meat. I personally also practise fasting. (Occasionally I still consume fish). As far as possible, we do not cook meat at home but sometime my family members still insist on fish (although they still eat meat outside). They are not ready yet, so I always give way to them. I also will ask them to read your book. Hope this will build up their confidence on eating good healthy food. FYI, I faced the same thing as you mentioned in your book. I lost weight from 62 kg to 53 kg (in 2003). Now I am back to 56 kg. A lot of friends have not seen me for a long time. They always worry whether I am sick or having some sickness. Like you, I always have to explain to them what I have done and re-assure them I am healthier and fitter now.”

“My friend's father has just gone for an operation at GH to remove CA in his brain. It's stage 4. The family is so confused on what to do after the operation. He was at Sentosa Hosp but later was transferred to GH. Sentosa has no neuro expert. They had to rely on a specialisit from Tawakal. They didn't even dare to operate but proposed radiation and chemo. The GH Dr mentioned radiation but said he has to recover first. I would like to give her your book. Maybe they have a better idea on what to eat although she sounded not optimistic. TQ.
