Diary 295: The wonder of papaya

A Chinese physician in Kedah uses raw papaya juice and boiled papaya leaf soup to treat various cancers. He claims it has very good impacts.

How does it possibly work?

The fiber present in papaya pulp binds cancer-causing toxins in the colon and eliminates them from our body during bowel process.

Papaya is a fruit rich source of anti-oxidant nutrients like beta-carotene (the orange color) vitamin A and C and flavonoids,folate, B vitamins and pantothenic acid.
Papaya also has small quantities of minerals calcium, chlorine, iron, phosphorus, potassium, silicon and sodium.

The ripe papaya is filled with plenty of energy-boosting natural sugars.

Papaya contains papain, an proteolytic enzyme that assists our body's own enzymes in assimilating the maximum nutritional value from the food we consume.

The papaya has remarkable medicinal values recognized from ages.

But avoid its use completely during pregnancy as it may cause abortion.
