Study 1: The Global Registry of Acute Corononary Events (GRACE) have found that the average age of a patient admitted with acute coronary syndrome is 66 years.
Study 2: The Malaysian National Cardiovascular Database NCVD) (data contributed by 14 centres and hospitals) 2007 and 2008 found the average age of patient to be 59 years old.
Implication: Malaysians are ahead compared to the world in general.
This is not a good thing.
