Diary 401: Health email from an old friend
Thank you very much for coming to the reunion gathering on 15 October 2011 and it was wonderful to see each of you again; 4 new faces from the sciences and 3 from arts. It was a great evening. And a special thanks again to Heidi for getting the attendees together and to KK for making the arrangement with Saujana; especially the accommodation for 2 Mrs. Lau in 1 room!
Since there was so much interest in healthy eating and healthy living, I have attached a bit of notes which I have compiled when I was doing my colon and liver cleansing in 2008 for your reference and info. Healthy living is a 3 part process; what you put in, when and what you discharge out. So before you start eating 'only the good food' from now, I suggest you give your colon and liver a good cleanse first so that they are in the most efficient mode to absorb the good nutrition you are going to put in later. Otherwise all goodness will be absorbed by the toxins already in these 2 areas and your money and effort will be wasted.
Hin Fui has given a formula for liver cleanse in page 162 of his book. For the colon cleanse, or also called purge, you can use castor oil; which was very popularly used by the Indian community. 4-6 table spoon of this oil, depending on your body weight, will give you a huge flush within 2-3 hours!
If you are really serious about this subject, I can share with you in detail how I did it. There are many methods for the liver and colon cleanse available in Google and I really can't say which one is better or best.
Changing your consumption habits that are half a century old will not be easy initially but it will be worth it. Be healthy and be happy. ws
